I would propose that the subject of the ministry of this church, as long as this house shall be frequented by worshipers, shall be the person of Jesus Christ.  I do not hesitate to take the name of the Baptist: but if I am asked what my creed is, I reply, "It is Jesus Christ."  The legacy to which I would pin and bind myself forever, God helping me, is Jesus Christ, who is the arm and substance of the gospel, who is in Himself all theology, the incarnation of every precious truth.

  1. God's wisdom, direction, resources and power for HSBC.
  2. Hearts broken for lost people.
  3. The Pastor and his wife.
  4. HSBC teachers.
  5. HSBC leaders.
  6. Outreach strategies.

  8. Knowledge of and us of the one's spiritual gift(s).
  9. Victory over temptation.
  10. Repentance.
  11. Zeal by the people of HSBC for revitalization.
  12. God given revival.
  13. God given execution.
  14. God given perseverance.
  15. Right motives.
  16. Walk by the Spirit.

        Leave countless marks for good or ill, ere sets the evening sun.
