BENEDICTION:  Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever.  Amen.
-  Jude 1:24-25

I would propose that the subject of the ministry of this church, as long as this house shall be frequented by worshipers, shall be the person of Jesus Christ.  I do not hesitate to take the name of the Baptist: but if I am asked what my creed is, I reply, "It is Jesus Christ."  The legacy to which I would pin and bind myself forever, God helping me, is Jesus Christ, who is the arm and substance of the gospel, who is in Himself all theology, the incarnation of every precious truth.

 Thoughts to remember:

        My life shall touch a dozen lives before this day is done;
        Leave countless marks for good or ill, ere sets the evening sun.
        This is the wish I always wish, the prayer I always pray:
        Lord, may my life help other lives it touches by the way.
